Braidwood: A journey into Goldrush heritage

hours' drive south of Sydney, in the southern tablelands of New South
Wales, Braidwood is unique as it's the first town listed as a historic
entity by the NSW Heritage Office. Braidwood's heritage streetscape is a
product of its 19th-century Goldrush -- when Chinese, American and colonial
dreamers flocked to the town.  The town is now experiencing a renaissance,
bringing together western and eastern heritage for visitors. On the Kings
Highway, halfway between Canberra and Batemans Bay on the NSW south coast,
